US Financing
How are you going to afford your purchase? Have you considered online financing?

E-LOAN: Auto Loans, Used Car Refinancing, Motorcycle Refinance, Auto Finance
https://www.eloan.com/s/show/auto?
A great site with secure collection of information, an easy quote request process and some good educational resources. You can get a loan for a new vehicle or refinance an existing loan and if you apply during business hours you may receive approval within half an hour.
Pros:
All information is collected on secure pages and the process is quick and easy to understand. There are good resources available in the Tools and Resources section of the site (right-hand side of the page).
Cons:
Smaller loans (below $7,500 in most states, $10,000 in Arizona) are not available.
How to:
- Get a loan quote
Launch right in by answering the questions beneath the Get Started! Apply Now heading.

LendingTree - Mortgage Loans, Home Equity, Personal and Auto
http://lendingtree.com/
A good site although its emphasis seems to have shifted away from auto loans. The quote request process is simple and quick and there is a small amount of good information in the Tools & Advice section (just above the BBB logo near the bottom of the page). You can refinance or get a loan for a private purchase through Lending Tree.
Pros:
All information is collected on secure pages and the process is quick and easy to understand. Unlike E-LOAN, LendingTree gives you several quotes from a variety of lenders - I suggest you try using a few sites in this category to see how the loan offerings compare.
Cons:
Smaller loans (below $7,500) are not available. The information available on auto loans is not extensive.
How to:
- Get a loan quote
On the main page click on the Auto Loans heading (in the row of headings across the top of the page) and then fill out the subsequent forms.

Capital One Auto Finance - Auto Loans, Car Loans and Auto Financing
http://www.capitalone.com/autoloans/
Information collection is secure and the loan application process is quick and easy. Loans are available in most states with a minimum of $7500 in most locations. You can refinance or finance a private purchase with Capital One.
Pros:
All information is collected on secure pages and the process is quick and easy to understand.
Cons:
Smaller loans (below $7,500) are not available through Capital One. The amount of information available in the Tools & Resources section is minimal.
How to:
- Get a loan quote
You're right there on the secure page and ready to go! Fill away.

Road Loans
http://www.roadloans.com/
A good site that unfortunately does not offer loans in all states (residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana and Tennessee cannot obtain loans through Road Loans). Information is done on a secure page and is quick and easy. Road Loans bills itself as a site for those with less than perfect credit so this may be a place to look at if you fall in to that category. Road Loans offers refinancing and private purchase financing.
Pros:
All information is collected on secure pages and the process is quick and easy to understand.
Cons:
The minimum loan amount is $7,500 and, as mentioned above, the program is not completely nation-wide. There is not a lot of information about car loans for the new or used car buyer.
How to:
- Get a loan quote

Simply move through the 3-step process completing the forms as indicated.

Car Loans, Auto Loan. Online Car Financing. Auto Credit Express Car Buying Service
http://www.fundingway.com/
This is another site geared towards people with "special circumstances" - in other words folks with less than great credit ratings. Note that the site does NOT finance for private purchases or purchases from "non-network dealers". Nor do they refinance current loans. The application process is a little more extensive than other sites but is secure.
Pros:
The secure and extensive application form is supposed to allow the site's "finance managers to evaluate your credit profile quickly and accurately" and thus provide you with a loan where other sites would not (based solely on your credit rating). The site is available in Spanish.
Cons:
Loan offerings are limited - you can not refinance or finance a private purchase on this site. This site is "not a direct lender. [They] are a car buying service for people that are unable to qualify for direct loans."
There isn't any additional helpful information on this site regarding auto loans.
How to:
- Get a loan quote
Go down to Step 4, enter your zip code and click on the Continue button. Complete the subsequent secure pages to apply for a loan.
